This tractor was purchased in 1998 in Woodville Ohio. It was burned and was going to be disassembled and used for parts. I was offered the complete tractor and a deal was made.
After sitting in my storage shed four years I decided to restore the tractor rather than use it for parts. The challenge I faced was to restore the tractor using all usable original parts and sheet metal.
The Dearborn plow model 10-1 was purchased in Portland Indiana. It had been used as a display at the entrance to a New Holland dealership and was well weathered but in good condition. When the dealership went out of business I was able to purchase and restore it to original condition and display it with this tractor.
